Poland - Warsaw

There is a monument to Prince Józef Poniatowski (1763–1813) in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace. He was a heroic General, born in Poland, who fought in many wars and battles in Austria and Poland to finally become a Marshall of the French Empire. The Palace was originally built in 1643 and now is the official residence of the Polish head of state.
